Dean takes way too much time getting into a throwing lane and getting rid of the ball. Nola dropping the ball didn't help, but the runner was actually safe.

That should be it for Matulis. His pitch count is pretty high and he's still falling behind hitters consistently.

i say just sit back and try not to get too upset at all the things going wrong.. i have to believe that this team will turn it on in post season play.. i know that this slump might cost LSU the SR, hell maybe even a regional.. but i can promise that there will not be a team in the country that will want LSU as the #2 seed in their regional..
