Was this a walkoff? Last I saw, LSU was up 11-10.

Lawd have mercy.

Some of y'all need to calm down though. Cajuns lost tonight and Florida is currently losing to Eastern Michigan in the 8th inning. shite happens in baseball, that's why it's so fun.

To answer your question, Lamar scored twice in the bottom of 8th and shut us down in 9th

Its concerning because our bullpen was so inconsistent last year too, so seeing 15 BBs and HBP in one game isn't a great sign. But of course people are melting too hard over meaningless game, its the rant

Lamar got the bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th and hit a 2-RBI single to take the lead.

Well hitters were on, but our pitchers sucked. Maybe we won't be special lol!

Florida is losing to Eastern Michigan right now, though they have runners on the corners with 1 out bot 8

When we continually recruit pitchers on potential instead of how they pitch in actual games this will continue to be a problem. The lange's and pints are few and far between. Do a little digging on the pitchers lsu brings in and you will find they rarely go deep in games and struggle with command. If these pitchers struggle in high school and summerball then they will struggle worse in college. These coaches always believe they can teach them better but it rarely happens. These coaches are rarely found at high school games and depend on bullpens thrown at showcases on campus to form opinions of who should and shouldn't be offered. This way of thinking will continue to provide big misses.

Most of these pitchers you speak of go to the major leagues or to school like Vanderbilt or Florida. Should be hard to pass judgment on the third game
