Lester is somewhat right.
According to Boyd's RPI Needs LSU would need to go 24-3 to be in the top 8 in RPI, while USM would have to go 23-2 to remain in top 8. BUT, USM could go 16-9 and be in the top 16; LSU would need to go 17-10 to be in top 16.
