Vandy is a private school, i dont think they serve alcohol there

I'm tired of arguing this, so I'll say it one last time, SEC schools aren't allowed to serve alcohol at any of their events, regardless of if they are playing an SEC school

Alcohol CANNOT be served at ANY NCAA sporting event if it is on campus. Here in Orlando you could drink at UCF games when they were being held in the Citrus Bowl and now cannot since the stadium is on campus. Its an NCAA rule, not a sec rule or public/private school issue although the conferences or schools can go beyond that if they want.

You really want to blow their mind. Try to explain why they don't serve beer at the SEC CG but do at the Chick Fil A Bowl.

You can and I have bought beer at Robertson Stadium. U of houston on campus stadium.

This is simply not true. It is an SEC rule. Not saying that other conferences do not have this rule, but I have been in the Big House when UM and tOSU play and beer is served. In fact, there were even Budweiser ads on the scoreboard. Hope this clears it up.
