What if the constant juggling of the lineup and pitching roles led to the 3-12 start to SEC play?
It may have? He did the same thing last year and it may have lead to the bullpen issues we had for most of '23?
What is not up for discussion is the last two seasons, he has us playing our best baseball of the season leading into June. And I fully expect he will do the same juggling next year and we will be having this same discussion then.

So let’s revisit this post I made last week, has opinions changed about this not being his best coaching job? In most cases and sports id agree that it can’t be when you have a sub par regular season like we did, But this is baseball, and your team is peaking at the right time, improved drastically, and yeah there were some head scratching moves made. Let’s say we get to supers or CWS, is that enough to validate that this is indeed his best coaching job
What coaching differences have you noticed?

Coach Johnson is a winner … and he knows how to develop winners!

Amen to that brother, and someone asked how did he coach differently, I’m not at practice and don’t know what of anything has changed, but I do know he’s getting production along with confidence from this team that we didn’t have before. Call it development, good timing, or whatever else ya want, he has us playing our best ball at the only time it matters.

Yep.
None of the mid season shite maters in baseball. Just win and advance when the tournaments start.
Early and mid season are mainly for learning, training and shite. Late season and tournament results are where it's at...we have a great coach who knows dis...thanks Coach.

he has been all over the place trying to figure out how to right the ship all year long

Baseball is a game of percentages, and Johnson was past due this year. I even thought he made some mistakes leaving guys in too long in this game, but it averaged out….
