For a $20ish bottle Buffalo Trace can’t be beat. It’s like Tito’s is to Vodka, it is leaps and bounds better than the generic $20 bottle of booze. For that reason it’s my choice.

There are better bourbon options, but they cost what they are worth. I think Buffalo Trace costs less than it’s worth.

No mixing, over ice. I appreciate all of the choices. I feel like this thread is long over due. GDT’s!

Buffalo Trace…no doubt…then later that night…Eagle Rare.

Perfect combination. Occasionally some Jefferson’s or 1792.

I know this is supposed to be bourbon, but have any of you tried Garrison Brothers? Made in Texas. IMO this will compete with all of the bourbons (and I like bourbon). I find it a bit pricey but damn it's good stuff.

Good news right now on liquor bar delivery, I can get a Pappys 10 yr, and a Pappys 12 yr special reserve bundle on sale for 1900. But wait there’s more…they’re also kicking in an ice ball mold for free lol.

I’ve stumbled upon James Peppers 1776 100 proof Rye. Fanfreakingtastic! I’m not an alcoholic, but I can’t stop drinking it. Only about $30 a bottle.

That’s something I’m gonna have to try. I don’t mind spending money on a bottle or 2 to have around for special occasions but nothing wrong with a not special occasions bottle either lol.

The first few sips of Angel's Envy rye poured neat are magical. Tastes like molasses before it opens up and the rye taste starts coming out.

Depends on time of day, kickoff time, temperature. But only one for all year would have to be Knob Creek

I’ve been digging the Willet Estate 4-year old rye lately. It’s a damn good pour.
