He did but his job was the cash register. The cooks were Joe Lavergne and Terry Ramirez. I think the Colonial Inn was where Kenny got the burger recipe.
We affectionally called them "The Greeks."
I thought is was closer to Kirby Street. Upon my recollection we went there to see David Allen Coe but I was on active duty at the time.
You are likely correct as to the location because most of the movie houses were under umbrella of the Southern Amusement Company including the Paramount, Arcade, Ritz, either the Delta or Palace, Dixie, Midway, Surf, New Moon, Rice, Yam, and the ones in Jennings and Eunice and possibly the one in Sulphur. The President of the Southern Amusement Company was George Baillio lived on Broad Street at the home next to the Governor's Mansion and always had a new Cadillac. I believed that his grandson was the owner of Gandolf's instead of the manager.
With her family surnames, it likely rules out all communities except Iota.
Do you believe that the "old money" did not want the Oil Center" and influenced it to be located in Lafayette? I have always heard that.
K,

Was Gandolfi's located near the court House on Ryan Street?

Do you recall the names of the managers?
It could be more of the norm than you think. I have been retired for a few years but many of us did the same thing at an industry in the Lake Charles area.
The shares are up 30% since you last posted, you say?

Did you last post February 2nd ? Did you see your shadow?

That's got to be it. As I recall he declared he had considerable exposure to some other investments.

I was re-engineered at PPG in the 90's before it was acquired by Westlake Chem.

Catch the Spirit Revisited.
There simply would not be so much speculation had we received that "thorough breakdown" as promised from SECCAPTIAN.

Not too far away. Bayou D'Inde Pass Road south of the building where the Calcasieu Parish voting machines are stored.

As to a geographical reference that you can most likely identify with, it is an eighty acre parcel located south of Maplewood area of Sulfur. The zoning designation is "light industrial."

I walked this property with two men from Providence Engineering about seven years ago. The Army Corps approved their findings which was a few acres of 100% wetlands and mostly the balance 38% wetlands.

This property was owned by my grandfather and there are 26 of us with undivided interests at this time. A large majority of my cousins decided to put it up for sale. I think that they are having the JD reapproved at this time.

Indeed it is a cool place. Many years ago started learning plant and animal taxonomy, fire arms safety, and to drive an automobile when I was eleven years old.

Yes, the property is in SWLA (Calcasieu Parish).

Yes Ron, thank you for the comment.

It is estimated that 59% of Louisiana wetlands are located in non-coastal inland swamps that could become open for development under this new proposal. At present much of the property that falls under the definition of wetlands are well-drained areas called "pimple mounds." Between these elevated areas are spaces that can become saturated with rainwater.

Under the new proposal the wetlands area would have to be touching visible water surface at least part of the year under a typical season. We may hear it called "the continuous surface rule."

The proposal will knock back restrictions.

What is your take on this matter?
Is it likely to be accepted? Is it good for Louisiana?

Happy for you. If I ever get to the point of being $ .15 away from breaking even, I will hire El Groucho as my bodyguard.
I have been there two times for lunch. It is legit.
I have never really understood why Sulphur has had the youth sports facilities that Lake Charles does lacks. For example, the Louisiana High School state baseball and softball championships are held there each year.

Upon my understanding Barbe High School kids on the swim team drive there for practice because McNeese will not allow use of their pool.
