Mettenberger will not be starting against Oregon.
Obviously its only a drill that Jefferson and Lee have been running for four years now.
When you go live, that's when you get the real answers.
I'm sure Mett is nervous as well - all eyes on him from coaches and everything being scrutinized.
Looks to me once his footwork is better he will be more on target. Bottom line, Mett will have do everything faster and quicker than he did in juco ball because SEC defenses demand that.

The offense owned the defense the whole time (with the exception of Blue). I hope that's a sign of good things to come on the Offensive side of the ball this year!

Not me. I believe that Jordan Jefferson is going to go out in his Senior year and show you doubters that what you saw in the last 3 games of the season and in the Cotton Bowl was the real JJ.
The guy played his arse off against Ole Miss and Alabama. In the Cotton Bowl they FINALLY lt him throw deep and he passed that with flying colors.
Jordan Jefferson deserves a lot more credit than some of y'all want to give him.
Having a legitimate QB coach and an offense that makes sense for the 1st time in his LSU career will benefit Jefferson and Jarrett Lee.

This is poopoo. He was given every opportunity to throw deep throughout the year. We had receivers open consistently and he never found them. I felt even worse for Lafell the year before. He was open all year, but JJ couldn't find him. Now I hope it's better this year, but stop trying to act like the coaches forced him to throw short.

Are you kidding me? Would you like to research his stats from last year. Something like 7 TD's and 11 INT's AS A JUNIOR.
LSU's chance of having a great 2011 year all rides on Mett and Krags, because JJ does not have it. I respect him for being a tiger, but his is not a SEC QB.
