I wonder if Les could borrow that speech and play it for the Tigers before the game? Just substitue Louisiana and Tigers where needed.

Pat White should have won the heisman...the dude seriously willed WVU to two BCS victories.

Besides being considered a good a decent human being by discerning fans as well as recruits and their parents:
1. Bill Stewart has a better winning percentage after two years than any other coach in WVU’s 100 year history;
2. Bill Stewart’s current staff has a total of 160 years DI experience (His first had 144, compared to his predecessor’s 2007 staff’s 99 years);
3. Bill Stewart’s three recruiting classes have been ranked by Scout.com an average of 29th best in NCAA, compared to his predecessor’s average of 42nd.
4. When he was the top assistant, he traveled 300 miles RT every February signing day to our Charleston WVU Fan club to give us a player by player rundown.

He seems to be low key, but WVU may be in better shape with him in many ways than they were with Rodriguez.

When Stewart was an assistant under Rich, I helped in a charity golf event all the WVU coaches were playing in. He had sprained his ankle so I drove him around in a cart part of the day, but not very much. I saw him in Morgantown after he got the WVU coaching job like 4 years later and he basically remembered everything about me. Dude is a really amazing person...I really hope he turns out to be an amazing coach as well because he deserves it. He really loves WV and his university.

If Les Miles signed a recruiting class that ranked anywhere from 29th to 42nd he would not have a job.
