" Ppl like you who shite on miles"
That's a personal attack and it's false. I tell the truth about miles I don't shite on him. There's nothing I've said in this thread that can be determined reasonably as shitting in miles. And btw did you see him tday? He's still lying about things that happened here. He's a coach they all expect critisizm I've coached I welcomed it it makes you better. You don't think there's anything wrong with a man who refuses to acknowledge the truth and won't accept responsibility?

quote:That is absurd. Any change to a program that results in the program getting worse is a change the had a bad result. When that bad result was more likely to occur than a good result, the decision was bad. It has never been likely that replacing the most successful coach in LSU's history would improve the program, and if the replacement fails that is absolutely an indication that firing him was a mistake. Only when there is a stronger likelihood of BETTER results than WORSE results is a decision -- any decision -- a good idea. The odds were never better than 50% that a replacement coach would be more successful than Les, so the only way it could be considered a good decision is if the chance of a worse result was even smaller. That seems unlikely, and having the resulting hire do badly would be further evidence of that.
How Orgeron performs has absolutely nothing to do with whether Les needed to be fired

We got 3 losses with Miles
Funny how one guy -- who lost more than 3 games 40% of the time -- wins a Championship and loses 3 games and it's a "dynasty that is 100% guaranteed to dominate college football without another loss for the foreseeable future," and another guy takes that same program, wins his arse off, loses less than 3 games a year for a decade, wins his own championship, and loses 3 games his last season and it's "proof of the decline/demise" and a "terrible season".

Obviously you're the one whose feelings are getting hurt. You can't discuss the topic without offensive commentary barbs and low blows. You claim to be an older fellow try acting like one.

Doesn't your statement here betray what you've said over time defending miles and the status quo? I see in other statements you've changed your opinion but wouldn't it be good to just agree some and argue les. After all you're a tiger and that's what matters right?

I agree with this point sir. The CEO model was a failure under miles over time. We shall see if o has that same difficulty.

No, I didn't see him today. I have better things to do than sit around and watch a bunch of talkings heads discuss which football program someone might commit to.

Yes I do. Point out where and when I said it was ok in my book. Do you remember the interaction we had right before Thanksgiving when you made a couple of claims about Miles having a team that gave up a certain amount of points in one half of a game and about how Miles didn't have a better overall record at Oklahoma State then the coach he replaced? When I posted facts that showed you were wrong about what you were trying to claim, you refused to acknowledge the truth then and you wouldn't accept responsibility for posting false information. You seem to want to grill Miles over something that you yourself did just a couple months back.
I've said it before, you want to dislike the man, knock yourself out. I haven't liked everything he's done at LSU, but I will give the man credit where credit is due.

Well thats just not true at all. I was off by 6 points and admitted it. You're not making a single point here. Just more insults but go ahead you're just exposing the kind of person you are. I've given him credit which you've ignored and have done nothing but comment on things totally off base and irrelevant to the topic which is par for the course for you .

Les did it in his first season. Let's see how long it takes da coach eaux.
That was back when Les had a pair.....the nutless version we were subjected to over last few years was a shadow of his former self. Who are you trying to kid?

Booger has only turned traitor and harmed the team he claimed to love ,he is one of the reasons we lose some of our best recruits to bama !
Your dissing Booger because he speaks the truth and if recruits are basing their decision whether to attend LSU or not based on the rantings of a pundit, they dont need to be here in the first place.

Bull shite.we have 2 of the best coordinators in cfb, if we lose 3 games next year it isnt a good season.
O's first year and you're setting the bar this high? I mean I dont want to lose three either....and we shouldn't but get serious. I'm willing to give a year at least if for nothing other than establishing some fricking continuity.

So everybody who pays attention to signing day and recruiting us a loser? Got it. Obviously you can't discuss any topic regarding miles without becoming emotionally unhinged. You've also admitted you don't pay attention to important aspects of the football team thus exposing that your knowledge is very limited on the subject. Of course that doesn't stop you from jumping into convos passing judgment and going off on tangents about things you clearly know nothing about. I bet you're a hoot to be around.

So the bar shouldn't be set high? It was 10 wins under Les and O preaches continuity not rebuilding. The same bar should be set unless we plan on making excuse after excuse each year.

Actually if you google Booger and Les you see that Booger has always been negative on Les. He just doesn't like the man.
