Because they were evenly matched.

No team we will play this season will make our offense look so ineffective.

You're post shows that you're a complete idiot and haven't watched very much football.

Just because some receivers were open doesn't mean that a ball could have gotten to them. Rush the QB and keep the ball from being thrown and they can be open all day long with no football. Push them back on their heels, intimidate, and confuse them and the ball won't get to the receiver.

As said numerous times, defense wins!

this whole two shitty offenses last night is ridiculous... look to what bama and LSU have done all year against teams.

if EVERYONE is capable of scoring 40+ against an oklahoma state and an arkanasas, I am confident bama and LSU would too.

I would be much more concerned if we were 9 - 0 and winning each game 45 - 42, 38 - 28, 52 - 45

we have to hear this crap ad nauseum from a handful of sports talking heads AND some of our own fan base... ridiculous

Both teams combined are 17-1 and ranked in the Top 4 in the nation going into the 10 week of the season.

I wonder how "beatable" the teams Bama and LSU have played this season think we both might be.

Based on the OP's post, I'm astonished that every coach participating in the coach's poll would vote no. 1 for a team that looked so beatable.

the NFL wouldn't be becoming such an offensive game. With a good quarterback and an unlimited amount of time to prepare each week, there is just no way to cover all receivers regardless of how great a defense is.
FIFY. In case you don't understand, the NCAA regulates practice time at 20 hour per week including the game. College=/=NFL.

more nonsense from you, so surprising.

these teams avg 40 points a game against 'normal' teams.

40.

who the frick is gonna beat either of these teams unless they play a pitiful game? not a damn soul.

good defenses make good offesses look like shite

elite defenses will shut down the best of offenses.

I prefer to win then seel tickets.

The best combo is a running game and great defense. We really don't have an elite running back. Man, we were so close to getting richardon.

but we have the players to win.

Remind me again, you are or are not the guy who thought a team of combined LSU and Alabama players with Luck at QB could beat the Colts?

I'll await your confirmation before I disregard your opinion in its entirety.

So someone saying Boise might beat LSU 10-30 percent of the times they play(depending on where they play) is less credible than someone who thinks a combination of players on 3 college teams could beat an NFL team?

I feel most experts would disagree.

i feel most anyone with a pulse recognizes that 2 teams came into this game averaging 40pts a game, and the final score was a result of great defensive play, not that the offense suddenly forgot how to play.

but keep trying to bring up other threads to mask your total ignorance that was summarily dismissed by everyone in this thread. you and sir saint would get along nicely.

Sir Saints was actually the one who informed me of that clownish position you took on that college team beating an NFL team matter.

As I recall TNBoy was clowning himself in that thread with claims of Bray being better than Kellen Moore. So it looks like your getting some reputable backup.
