My only concern with Brennan is his size. I hope our oline can protect him.

How many times was Etling actually knocked down? He was sacked twice, so he was knocked down at least twice. He was only hurried 6 times so at the absolute most, he was hit 8 times. Realistically, more like 4-6 times.
He's a football player. Sometimes football players get hit. We need to stop babying young QBs.

The offense could convert to a full spread quick passes to help protect OL. It's very easy to run out of this alignment as well . Its what we will be doing next year anyway .

That was also Moo State doing that to us. Moo fricking State!!! What the frick do you think Bama is going to do to us? Every player on their front 7 is as good as or better than Simmons.

This isn't the result of Etling playing poorly. This loss can't be placed on him at all. I think O just realizes this is a rebuilding year (even though no one can stand the thought of that) and it's time to prepare for the future.
