Solid post. LN has so much upside it’s crazy. He just doesn’t have the confidence as u states. Probably because he’s just not comfortable enough with the offense along with the speed of the game. I hope he puts it together because if he does he could be a dominant college qb.

After watching today I'm wondering why we didn't Redshirt Brennan. He's under weight still and Justin McMillan looked good enough to be the backup last year

JM may have just improved that much this season?

No. He should have been the backup after a strong spring last year

Actually Canada wanted JM to play not MB, that's why he's no longer here. Coach O hyped up MB and he's definitely not living up to the hype!!!

Dont know why this was down voted. Its true

Is he a top QB bc he was a 4 Star? So was LN. Why is it growing pains for MB, but can't possibly be growing pains for the other two. Maybe JM's growing pains have ended. Yes, he was a 3 Star, but a 3 Star who won 2 state titles in the highest Texas classification, consistently against D1 level talent like Jamal Adams, Toby Weatherby, Ed Paris and Ed Ingram, to name a few.

Oh no, what's happened to King Lowell/Lord Narcisse?

Yall think he's ready to come play in the SEC against SEC defenses? (I bet all of his blind Entourage does

Go hide. Nothing negative to say about McMillan today? Were you impressed with Brennan?

Pay no attention to semjase; he’s been up Brennan’s arse since we first started recruiting him. I think he’s a HS classmate or some shite.

I get what you’re saying now

JM did have a decent Spring last year and Brennan being a true freshman should have just red shirted.

You are completely correct. It’s not like MB was that much better and JM had a year in the program on him. Even with MB playing, it wasn’t really enough to justify not RS him.

If i could go back in time I’d probably prefer it done this way. Especially with coach O who was never going to give a true freshmen full reigns of the team over a senior. Brennan should have RS.

Wait is there a difference between the SEC and AA Mississippi HS football?? MB needs to grow and gain weight or he will be seriously hurt at qb. He has the tools and will one day be a good qb but he's not ready physically now.

I went to the spring game 2 years ago. MY QB take aways then were that Harris was still overthrowing players, Etling looked crisp on short passes but under throwing deep routes and McMillan looked surprisingly good and seemed much thicker\physically imposing than I expected (admittedly, my expectation were closer to a Harris body type than anything else). So I'm not sure if it's a case of taking him improving significantly or just not being seriously considered before?
