Maybe I'm getting old but I use the actual game to sober up some. As for walking around outside the stadium, here's what I do..

I got to a place like Subway (gas stations have then too) and get one of those hard plastic cups with a hard plastic top and straw. Fill with Coke and Rum and walk around with no issues. Then again, I wear Orange and Blue.

are the pocket shots' sealed well? good enough to where if you put in your shoe they would not leak or bust?

Not under your foot and it is probably to big to fit in your shoe unless you have oversized shoes. Works good with long socks.

Is it as easy as getting stuff into Tiger Stadium?

After reading all the replies on this thread and you still try to bring alcohol in the stadium, you are a dumbass.

Last time I went to Florida, guy in our group got stopped at the gate with a pint in his pants and was escorted away. We thought that he got kicked out and was watching the game across the street....Nope. He went straight to jail and we had to pay $1500 bail to get him out.

Don't bring alcohol into the Swamp. Plain and simple. You need alcohol that bad, you need AA meetings.

Every game I go to, I bring pocket shots. Easy to put 2 in each sock and you are good to go. I think you can only get them in Texas right now. They are $2 each at Specs.

LINK

they actually sell those in gainseville at the liquor store right by campus. go figure. the easiest way to get liquor in any stadium is a ziploc bag in the crotchal region. never have i gotten caught doing this

So in Florida they will take you to jail from the stadium.

What happens at Tiger Stadium? Do they take you to jail if you're caught of just kick you out of the game?

They take it and then tell you to not do it again.

Honkus - Did you read my post in the ticket thread before calling me a douche?

iambigwilley- Before the Miami game last month, a couple of cops on bikes rolled up to our tailgate and started carding. Two chicks got arrested. Out of the 60 people there, they must have been the only two underage. The good news is that they were released with a court date, not taken to jail. Oh, and they were Gators.

Last time I went to Gainesville. I got the booze into the stadium easily. When the group I was with including myself got roudy. We got a sheriff posted right behind us. Good luck making a drink with cop directlly behind you. I even had to leave the booze.

Would not have gotten roudy with the wife there. She thinks I should sit down at Tiger Stadium.

Very strict. Cops on bikes, UPD and GPD, with nothing better to do but ruin our Saturday afternoon. If you are underage, be VERY careful.

simple, don't drink in the stadium.
when you tailgate, buy a big gulp, or any cup with a lid at a convenient store, mix your drink, enjoy the game.
