Worst QB's
GO look at his numbers that year, look at his performance. Was pretty damn good but for one game and OH MY GOSH Saban made him look stupid as he did Rothlesberger and Manning. Guess those were bad qbs also.

People keep saying this and yeah it helps free up some funds but how much? They were already planning on spending more this year even when we had him committed. Coach already talked about how they went lighter last year and why and then said they were going to be aggressive this year. If I had to guess, Underwood was probably promised in the 1.5 - 2 million dollar per year range. So that didn't just free up 6-8 million to dump on people right now. It could have freed up whatever they were going to pay him the first year. For all we know they are saving that money to put towards the next big QB, or they could have used about a half or 1/3rd of that to get the MSU QB to replace him and if they are spending or saving the rest nobody really knows. I'm glad to see the momentum and all have gotten people off the ledge but who knows how much if at all Underwood's flip had anything to do with what we are seeing right now.
