He committed to Bama early in the process.

I thought the same immediately upon typing; then I deleted because I didn't want the a & m crazies converging on the thread to tell me how I'm a TPOS. Then I said eff it and retyped. I don't want any kid to be injured, ever. Any player on any other team than LSU is Tiger Bait, the ones that trolled our staff and fan base I hope we humiliate on the field.

Connor Neighbors is from Alabama. His dad and granddad played for Alabama. Maybe we should kick him off the team ? Wishing injury on a kid because he made a choice that fit HIS bank account is childish and sickening.
FIFY
Sure, because if a kid goes anywhere but LSU there must be something crooked going on.
Maybe it was for his bank account... maybe he saw the OL talent that Saban has been sending up to get paid in the NFL ?

Then's he's just plain ole Tiger Bait.
I don't wish him ill - I don't wish him well.
He's just another in a long line of players LSU considered.
Evan Washington - for example, came in for one play against Ole Miss and blew his man up. I want players like that - 100% for the team.
ETA: Son of 11-year NFL vet DE Marvin Washington, Evan Washington hails from Texas.

This is huge. He's been the second best player on their offense this season IMO.

People who bring up NE LA players not going to LSU don't know what the hell they're talking about. This is the 1st year since the early 90s that there hasn't been AT LEAST one player from West Monroe playing for LSU.
Agreed. Lots of quality Tigers have come from that area. We'll get the pipeline opened back up shortly.

Absolutely. Hope the backup isn't up to snuff.

quote:He is a key part of Bama's offense. Someone will play his position, but he can't be replaced simply by rotating someone else in. Dumb post.
If he wasnt such a high profile guy and an LA boy this wouldn't even be a thing. teams have rotating hurt line men weekly.

I don't wish injury on the guy, but when you post images like this:
You are kind of asking for backlash.
