st said he can't complete a 5 yard slant to a guy in his face, he probably can't throw a bubble screen either.

You don't have to throw a bubble screen to get him the ball. They completed 7 passes to him this year and he averaged 18 yards per catch.

What are you supposed to do when your QB can't complete a 5 yard slant and the other can't learn the playbook?

Blame the coach.

Did you not see the record breaking offense last year? Jesus Christ. What are you supposed to do when your QB can't complete a 5 yard slant and the other can't learn the playbook?

But you've got it completely backwards. With the talent we had last year, just about any competent OC could have been successful.

The real mark of a great OC is what they do with average talent. That's why this year was so depressing.

If our QBs are so poor and not making progress, that's on Cam.

Its amazing that he continues to get a pass. Its like LSu fans make up their minds after about an hour on a guy then try for decades to say they were right.

A million a yr for that offensive play? Not a formula for success. One could possibly overlook masterminding a bottom 5 QB situation....
But to not clearly the see accuracy and arm strength issues sooner and not throw some short easy passes to a big TE target or the RB in the flat on occasion is a head scratcher. We were in like game 5-6 and we were still running 7 step drop routes? It took the bowl game to throw to a big talented TE with an inaccurate unpoised QB?
Add in neither QB seemed to make any significant development moving forward and you'll be hard pressed to find someone who could do this trying to.

What's that stat someone posted - 13.7 PPG vs. SECW opponents this year?

I'd say "Yes".
