Apparently bama might have their best offense ever, thanks to their new starting quarter back. As someone who can take a neutral view on this ( I have affiliation with both places). Bama fans usually worship their quarter backs, but in my opinion most of the bama quarter backs under Nick Saban, generally could not throw or make long passes. They were largely carried along by the talent of Alabama's defensive team. Tua can throw.

The only thing that might stop Bama this year is that their defense isn't as good as the past few years and the team is young. Injuries might be the other thing.

No one is beating Bama this season unless Tua goes down

The experts abound. So Bama won't be a 13 or 14 point favorite, but you put it at 13.5 a good 3 months in advance. Sure.

I wasn't impressed with OSU's running defense today. They have up almost 200 yds on the ground.

If you can't figure out that "quarterbacks" is a single word, it's hard to rely on your expertise.

The last three times Alabama came to Tiger stadium LSU had them on the ropes twice in the waning minutes and were within one score of tying it late in the fourth quarter. Anthony Jennings was the QB in one of those games.

Yeah but those teams looked vulnerable. The Bama team this year does not. Of course, we haven’t seen LSU play and Louisville could really be that bad.

But I certainly wouldn’t bet on LSU beating Bama.

What game were you watching? The Bama team I saw looked as vulnerable on defense as I’ve seen them in many years. Yes it was the first game but I sure as hell didn’t see a team without vulnerabilities.

For the first time in forever, they have a QB who can cover those mistakes the defense MIGHT make.

Tua will win the Heisman, Bama will repeat as champion, and my liver will scream for mercy.
