Here we go - more frickery with the scoring. Georgia score bumped up from a 9.775 to a 9.9! Absurd.

This team has been competitive in every SEC game thus far. They may have had large deficits in two of the games due to a bad stretch but that was offset by long positive stretches where they were within a couple of possessions. This seems to be the nature of the SEC this year with very little to separate about a dozen teams. Its absurd to claim the losses of Dedan Thomas and Jalen Reed are not relevant. Its very likely they would have won all four SEC games or at worse would be 3-1 in league play. Remove Oweh from Kentucky, Meechie from South Carolina and Tanner from Vandy and the Tigers win all three games.

Sanctimonious comments like this fail to take into account both teams had plenty of chances to separate the score. Oweh clearly committed an offensive foul out in the open court and it should have been called. Yes the long throw in was perfectly placed but that doesn't negate the blown call on Oweh's drive.

Oweh should have been called for an offensive foul on the drive prior to the foul call on Miller. As he entered the three point circle he was guarded well by Jalen Reece. Oweh reacted and hooked his left arm around Reece's lower back and flung him backward. Reese lost his balance and fell leaving a clear path to the goal. The officials swallowed their whistle. Miller went straight up with his hands to block the shot. Its possible there was lower body contact but not clear. Regardless it should have been Tigers basketball on the offensiv foul that was not called. Kentucky would have fouled on the inbound but the final free throws would have likely been by Reese or Mckinnon and not by Tamba.

Watch the replay - Kentucky inbounder moved both feet and slid to the right to gain spaceto make the long throw. Should have been a turnover and game over, Tigers win. Very clear and refs should have made the call.
