Can we talk about how stupid clemsons field is. That LF wall wobbles like it’s cardboard taped to a barricade. Then that hill on the outfield wall. Just so dumb.

West Virginia looks very solid on paper. 24-5 record on the road. Got 10 guys hitting above .278. Has deep pitching and 2 starters that can matchup with Anderson and Eyanson. Steal a lot of bases.

But only 3-2 on the road against Top 50 RPI teams, including a series loss to KSU. Clemson was their first road game all season against a 1 or 2 seed in the tournament. They also went 1-5 at home with two series losses to 2 seeds.

I’m not sure I’d agree with that. They have given up 39 runs in Kartsonas’ last 4 starts. He gave up 5 runs himself against Arizona and 4 against KSU with the bullpen letting them down in all 4 games, though they held on against Clemson. He also only went 5.2 innings against Clemson and 4 against KSU. Kirn has pitched well against top competition the last 3 times out, but the bullpen blew his start against Kansas. I don’t see 2 pitchers that matchup with LSU’s aces and that deep bullpen has failed them since the competition got tougher to end the season.
