74% runs last week by the Tiger's. Miles usually threw it more, but so did O last year. Let the season unfold and see what happens. I doubt it will be 50-50 at the end and I have no problem with that.

But I agree it will increase a little. I was surprised by that number...6 in the box or not.
But then again, players have said we will be extremely run heavy under Canada. Then aranda related our offense to navy's triple option. Lots of things point to this year being more run heavy than miles last few years. We'll see though.
If it is, I'll be disappointed, because we will lose games.

2 deep safeties isn't just referring to alignment. LSU played two deep safeties alot last year but used Jamal Adams in run support which is why you saw him making plays around the LOS all the time. BYU had two deep safeties that weren't really run support players. Sure they would come up and tackle but it was usually after one of our RBs was 7-10 yards down field.
