I have lived in the Lafayette area for many years and I have to say congratulations to UL for having a #1/3/4/8 ranked team just like I have to say that I'm proud of the Tigers being ranked #6/8/6/6. Let's all just celebrate the fact that Louisiana (both LSU and UL) is the most powerful state in the country when it comes to baseball!

I'm hoping the finals in Omaha are UL vs LSU. That way the trophy and the rings come back to Louisiana!

@DellengerAdv: Mainieri thought about starting Hunter Devall on Tuesday. Decided to give Glenn another shot. "Big" game for Glenn, Mainieri says #LSU

@DellengerAdv: Bouman still questionable for this weekend at Florida. #LSU

@DellengerAdv: Zac Person is an option Sunday if he doesn't pitch Friday or Saturday. #LSU

Is he trying to suck up to us?

William (Mississippi): Given every stadium is on its A game; where is the best atmosphere in college baseball?

Aaron Fitt: I'm sure I'm stepping on a hornets' nest with this one—there are a lot of great answers. I will admit I have not been to Mississippi State when it was on its A game, but I've been to LSU and Arkansas when they were pretty close to their A games. Based on my experience only, I'll say LSU.

Because he's scared of all the hate mail/tweets he gets from opposing fans disagreeing with the BS he spews.

I mean the rest of the college baseball world knows about Alex Box for the most part. Moreso than any other college ball park I bet. It's not like he is going out on a limb

Stop playing dumb dude, you know inside y'all want LSU to lose so bad. You might act different sitting at a bar next to an LSU fan, but we all know how you really feel.

There is a difference between hate and apathy. I've lived in Lafayette since 1975. I married and raised a daughter and consider this home. I attended USL (yes, USL). Other than putting up with the LSUA&M hate and disrespect from 90% of the UL-Lafayette fan base that I encounter, there is
quote:

no other city I would consider living in as far as the state of Louisiana. The truth is, I don't care about UL-Lafayette athletics. (I don't hate them, I just don't care). I just wish the majority of their fan base, who pulls against LSUA&M no matter what sport, would reciprocate and not care about LSUA&M. It would just make my life easier. But I've learned, it comes with the territory of being an LSUA&M fan living in Lafayette
.
