my point being the latter carpet should have never been used. it's horrendous
10-4. I actually think it looks fine personally but i do like the club level carpet the most. I dont have any issue with any of the 3 styles.

Do you really think this abomination looks cohesive?
The inside view of the the stadium looks great.
The outside, which they are purposefully leaving out of their updated pictures, looks......
Drive by the place. Check it out in person.

Now we have this Frankenstein expansion as a result.
Victor Frankenstein or Frankenstein's monster? They are two different things.

Compared to our other two upper deck expansions? Absolutely.
I've been away all summer and haven't checked out the exterior. I'll reserve my pitch fork until further notice

Let me show you another view. I'll dig it up.

Probably omitted the locker room pics because they didn't want a comparison to A&M's.

it is, not sure why you think that's funny. had the east upper deck expansion matched the new south, no one would be complaining about anything. the south was ver well done. it just doesn't match the east which makes everything look hodge podge

It's so cohesive..... Right?

actually yeah, it is unequivocally the closest to being cohesive with our Roman coliseum look in the lower bowl. The west side looks like a total shite show, and the only reason the east side doesn't catch more hell is because it's so well hidden.

help my old eyes.is there scaffolding between the two scoreboards...maybe an LED display being installed?
Obviously I see the scaffolding in front of the welcome signs but can't quite make out the other.

These threads are always so entertaining.

I don't know why they went that direction to hold the TAF offices, but as far as where people are actually sitting-yes, it looks much better than the west side.
the entire west side looks like an abomination. 3/4 of this expansion looks great. bif difference

when compared to the west and east..yes it is.

When it matches neither the east or west, but bridges the gap anyway....its.... Cohesive?
Posted on 8/6/14 at 1:51 pm to BigEdLSU
i see where you are going. maybe cohesive isnt the proper word but yes it matches the north end much more than the west or east match any end.
Posted on 8/6/14 at 1:51 pm to BigEdLSU
Why would you want it to match either?

exactly. it's impossible to match the two designs as both look completely different and ugly as frick in their own right.

For something that brings in over 100MM in annual revenue, I just wish the place looked like it had one universal design.
