There has to be some concisely of hard hit balls. If a guy has 2 110 mph hits in something like 70 at bats, that’s not enough for me to want him in the lineup.

Beloso is a good example. We know he can hit the ball hard. Early in the year he was hitting lots of 100+ balls, many didn’t fall for hits. Then he fell off and popped everything up. I don’t really care how hard a guy can hit if he’s not hitting hard in the games.

Yep, I’m not an expert. Not have I watched his swing closely. But there has to be something going on with his swing. His production has gone down without a high strikeout rate. His launch angle must be all jacked up or something.
It would be easier to accept if he hit more HR’s and he could be our, Harmon killebrew or Adam Dunn. But he just doesn’t anymore.
