Fans should know by now any Les Miles press event is like watching paint dry. He is absolutely the worst LSU coach ever when it comes to giving fans any information.

You must have been with a rotten brain.
Eviltwins, yes there's two of them, have probably been fans before you were born. Those two guys (sometimes campy as can be) are two of the most loyal fans I've ever met.
You're just a poster on droppings, and they are known by just about everyone.
Step back and appreciate a true fan.

I don't make the effort or time to listen to the Les Miles Show anymore but I have to say that I really enjoy reading the thread about it.
The phone problems, the dumbass callers, Miles talking, evil twin, Jeannie, and all the characters...

I'm sick and tired of all the people that does not know a thing about football giving les trouble!!!! Half the people that call in are idiots that think LSU can win a NC year in and year out let me inform them that it doesn't work that way!!! He made OK state what it is now but no one ever talks about that then he has the best 5 year stretch in LSU history!!! And if I must a NC!!!! Give the man a break I can't wait till he shows all of you what kind of a team he has built this year and so on!!! Then all the bandwagoners will be back kissing his arse, and I personally can not wait to hear all you talk then!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!! GEAUX LES MILES!!!!

So... What exactly "IS" OK State now?.... Have you ever looked at his record there? His conference record? His record against top 25?

Actually, I have to give him credit for what he did at OK State. He took a consistently losing program and turned them into a winner. They had one year with a winning record from 1990-2000. In his 2nd year they had a winning record and won their first bowl in 14 years. He went on to take them to three straight bowls before leaving (at the time, it was tied for the most bowls they had ever been to in consecutive years - Jimmy Johnson was their other coach that did that).
In his third year there, he took them to their first New Years Day bowl in 55 YEARS. I believe he's the only coach in their history to beat OU and Nebraska in the same year.
But a huge accomplishment for him was him beating OU in his first two years there when when OU was ranked inside the top 5. He was the ONLY coach in football to beat OU twice in a four year span in that time. The OU/Ok St. rivalry is the most lop-sided continuous rival with OU leading 80-15-7. They blew him out in his 3rd year, but he damn near beat them a third time in his final year. So he was impressive against them and you know that game counts for a lot in a program like Ok. St. So overall, he did damn good job for them.
Ok.St. had a down year after Miles left, but they have now gone to four straight bowls and had two pretty good years the last two years. So I think Les helped turn the program into a winner. That's a big accomplishment for that program.
