He's in great shape and plays hard He's just not good at the mental part of game. He waits for ball carrier instead of attacking. He picks wrong whole constantly. Nobody is picking on him He seems like a great teammate and person. But that does not make him a good mlb.

He played well on Saturday.

He was screwed on the holding call on the two point conversion. A defender can blow up anyone at the LOS.

My biggest complaint with Clark is he never makes a play going up the field. He seems unsure of himself. An example, State's second TD drive after LSU goes up 28-10 State had a second and long, LSU is playing deep so the state qb has nothing, state qb dumps it off to the back for an 8 yard gain. Clark just lets the pass happen right in front of him. You could tell he saw it coming. At a minimum it should have been knocked down for an incompletion setting up a 3rd and long but really it should have been an easy pick.

Damone Clark was rightfully criticized after the UCLA game cuz it looked similar to 2020 but he has played really well since then.

His biggest strength is that once he gets his hands on a ball carrier, they get stopped in their tracks and go down immediately.
