I also think Cooley plays more of a nickel CB role than true safety this year so hes an “addition”.

They aren’t starting a rFR at LT

Oh man good catch. I'm sure that if Strey ends up being the best LT on the team they will be kicking themselves because they obviously can't start him...
On the one hand, they have been insufferable douches through this entire saga.

On the other hand, I feel for them a tiny bit because they subconsciously know its coming crashing down and we would act the same way if Texas or someone did this to us.

But mostly frick THEM.
And they should poke Mike with a stick until he roars...

:spank: :spank:

LSU not on the list thankfully

Well thats a first. I'm shocked they aren't giving all the other schools a pass while pinning it on us.

Wolfcola has been wrong about most everything he has predicted in the last 6 months. Hopefully he isn't wrong about this one. Even blind squirrels find a nut every now and then.

They made the wrong choice hiring Pete Golding.

Maybe... Well probably.

He doesn't have a clue what he is doing as a HC

The roster and NIL stuff is all AT. Thats what drove AT away from OM in the first place. He wants to have full roster control. Lane wouldn't relinquish control but I bet part of the deal with PEte is that AT get final say on roster stuff.

Looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane.

He didn't play like Jane he was just all athlete and not a thinker. He didn't have a high football IQ which is what got him in trouble. The offense would make him make a decision and he would choose wrong often times.

Wolfcola is Glen Guilbeau...

Glenn is WAY too much of a square to watch Its Always Sunny

I don't see why this is an issue. In every other line of work you get replaced if you aren't good enough.

Are you really comparing yourself to Tulane? I didn’t realize y’all had fallen that far.

In this scenario LSU =UF and OM=Tulane. The shoe fits...

His mistake was the public nature of the coaching change. His tweeting, sending family to scout places out, etc. Other schools and coaches handled it like professionals.

Other coaches handled the same way Lane did, its just that reporters weren't hiding in the bushes waiting to report everything they did. And their former employers didn't act like scorned lovers.

Where do you see this? Its not even on the SEC rant.

Or, crazy idea, the plane HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH LSU OR SAM LEAVITT

IDK why you are yelling, I don't track planes. OP said plane from BR to Phoenix did not contain Levitt insinuating that it was related to LSU.
Not panicking but why would LSU send a plane and Sam not get on it? Was the plane just to send LSU brass to finalize the deal and Sam was never supposed to get on the plane? Or did he decide not get on the plane? Thats a big difference IMO.
I missed that. I feel like i mentally filter out sticky threads

I just realize that Philly is full of shite

You misunderstand what a source like Philly is. He's not nostradomus. He is telling us what LSU sources are saying. A recruit could tell LSU he is all in while also telling Texas, Tennessee, and Oregon the same thing. Philly would never know that, he would only know his LSU source told him that the recruit is all in.

So yes Philly and others we have had like him in the past do get stuff wrong but its not really on them if you understand the landscape. They are just relaying what the LSU side is saying, they have no clue what the actual recruits are thinking. They can't control if a recruit lies to our staff.

It was a huge problem during the O era because he liked to corner recruits in his office until they would commit or silently commit. The sources would say we got a guy, and then they would decommit or just commit elsewhere when they were a safe distance from O.

Updated "Depth Chart"?

Posted by Bert Macklin FBI on 1/12/26 at 1:12 pm
I know a few here keep depth charts and was wondering if anyone had an updated one with our transfers. I put depth chart in quotes because we can't possibly know the pecking order of returnees and new comers but it'd be nice to have a visual of what we have to see where we are still thin.
