I sure hate to hear this...DD is a straight up good guy and as staunch a tiger fan as I have ever seen...he has been a part of my morning ritual for decades....

A great Tiger fan and a decent human being.

Dandy Don is and will always be the biggest LSU fan. Anyone who disputes this please give a name and explanation.
Not sure if he is well enough to attend a tailgate to meet all his fans, but he definitely needs to be recognized on the field by Dan Borne during a TV timeout.
Dandy Don is irreplaceable.

I lost my grandpaw to parkinson's disease and my mom to cervical cancer, so I know what his family is going thru. Godspeed.

I have appreciated his service for years, long before I started enjoying TD.
I also enjoyed his kind correspondence about players and about his blog/website over those years. He is a gentleman and a wonderful supporter of LSU.
And... everyone dies. I wish him a graceful transition befitting such a kind and gracious person. I am sure he will be surrounded by his loving extended family.

When I grow up I want to be dandy don. Huge fan of his! One of the most knowledgable, classiest men I have ever met. I would gladly knockout any Internet tough guy that starts a anti don thread, saying he mis spells too many words. I have seen threads like that on here and I would love to meet the author.

Prayers for Dandy!!! Definitely appreciate all the time he puts in each day to keep that site going. Even though I usually can imagine what he's going to say, I still read it!!

Hate to see DandyDon getting more sick. That was the first LSU site I visited with regularity. Great fan and seemingly, though I don't know him, an even better person.
Keep fighting the good fight DD and beat it!

I first met him at one of the Bayou Bashes when it was still in the atrium of Argosy. It was 98-99. I always used to pass out sheets listing all of the top recruits for the next year along with their vital stats. I had a couple of conversations with him at those bashes and I can tell you the guy knew his stuff when it came to high school prospects. He was so passionate about LSU when he spoke. Great Tiger. I really hope he pulls through.
