There’s not shot in hell he plays the 3. After 4 years why do people still say this? The 3 in college is a shooting guard. He’s a stretch 4 not a wing.

That should be the starters, with maybe someone beating out Eason, but that looks good, with experience at guard, good scoring averages from last year, and a talented freshman center and good bigs backing the C & F positions. Full team below and on paper looks awesome:

We need another guard to handle the ball and shoot it, in case we get foul trouble.
However, if Tre Mitchell would have wanted in, then 4 guards are plenty. But he went elsewhere, so get another guard and lets ride to the Elite 8. If this team can gel and be a cohesive unit, then we have plenty of talent to go to the Final 4.

I agree he is not a natural 3. Maybe Wade puts Days at the 4 and Eason at the 5 at times.

Good point. He does like to foul. However, he needs to be in the lineup, let him shoot the rock!!

Knight could have played the 2 and the 3.
He has the talent to be one of the leading scorers but the minutes at those spots are going to be divided up between

Yeah, that's why he's not even on the team you dork.

I think to speculate about starters with so little information about how all the new players will relate to each other and how they will react to what Coach Wade wants them to do, is just a wee bit early. Days is the one player we do know something about and it is hard to imagine he won't start. But just because you start doesn't mean you will get 30 minutes a game. I am sure there will be frequent subs with this much depth.

Knight had decent size for a 2 but I think that’s where his skills would have landed him here. I know know about reef being a 3, highly unlikely. Don’t forget about fudge, who was with the team last season. And could end playing a point forward type similar to watford.

Have to agree here. Days will start if he’s back, but he probably won’t play as many minutes because of the depth. He Is a good offensive rebounder, but a little undersized defensively for guarding a big man. And not a great perimeter defender. Probably a starter who plays 18-20 minutes a game. If the offense morphs into an inside out game, he will do well as a stretch 4.
