This was the PapaJohns stand so I'm not sure if they fall under LSU concessions or they're their own entity, but after the Arkansas game, I noticed they opened all the unsold pizza boxes and threw away any leftover pizza.
There must have been 70-100 perfectly good personal pan pizzas that went directly into the garbage.
This was by the student section, so not sure if anyone else saw something similar in other parts of the stadium.

Why don't all stadiums do this? You would think they would be trying to improve the stadium experience with people not wanting to go to games anymore and this would be one of the easiest things to fix. Forget all of the other reasons about not attending or staying at games.
I can go to a bar and still have a relatively good atmosphere, have A/C, have quick and easy access to better food and drinks, multiple tvs showing the plethora of college football games, etc for cheaper. Or do that all at home for even cheaper. Doesn't make sense

Good question: Why would anyone pay to eat anything in Tiger Stadium?
Better question: Why do y’all keep going to the games when you can watch them on tv from home for free and be comfortable?

Wouldn't be surprised to see Alleva release a statement about the concessions issue. People are livid.
The problem is the people at the top attend games in suites with catered food, live TV on private screens and climate controlled. They have no idea what it is like to attend games in the bowl. I’ve responded to several TAF surveys on this subject. I’ve seen only superficial changes. I’m convinced as long as people are attending games they simply don’t care. The food suxs. I simply buy bottled water and eat after the game.
We are starting to see decreased attendance numbers. When large numbers of fans come to the realization at its just to expensive and to much of a hassle to go to games. Things will start to change.

"A&M also has tremendous concessions. The only problem is the lines are so long you miss a good portion of the game after waiting in line"
A&M has Levy Restaurants as their partner. They made it to the final 2 companies in the bid process. LSU picked Aramark over them.

Aramark has been an unmitigated disaster. It’s hard to be a dumpster fire from top to bottom and get nothing right, but somehow they do it.

I realize that prices will be high for concessions at sporting events,
Not necessarily.
At the new Mercedes Benz dome in Atlanta they are experimenting with low concession prices thinking people will be buying a lot more. It's turning out to be a big success from what I've heard so far. Doesnt hurt the food is solid too.
