I honestly think that the decision to use "co dc's" Is one of the worse Miles decisions since he's ben here and is sad to see once vaunted defenses play this way with so much talent. I think those young men have a lot to think in when it comes to representing a proud tradition, which in lieu of bad schemes and youth is hard to overcome.

On Moreno's long run, why was Beckwith the only Tiger chasing him?

24 totally whiffed on the tackle. Poor technique IMO. Credit Beckwith for showing some heart and good speed for a MLB on that play.

Definitely a safety issue on that play. Same thing happened to Steltz in the MNC last year against Beanie. So even good players can miss that tackle against a great runner.

Our safeties are upperclassmen and they make rookie mistakes. Over and over. It is frustrating to watch.

Only one safety has significant starting time. They are pretty green.

No I do not think this defense is the worst in LSU history. Not even close. Of course there is still time for them to achieve that lofty position but I don't think they're that bad.

We have 4 & 5 star players back there mostly. CJ, PP and JE were AA's I believe. The D line guys are up there too. This problem smells like lack of coaching and hard work.
could not be more wrong. There is a lack of talent at D for sure. Bunch of 3* players who never developed into great players. Could be coaching, could be the players. Peterson is a fresh, Jones a soph. Eugene a Soph. The talent on this team is young and they will be good in the years to come.

Everyone knew when RP was kicked off the team that we would struggle against the top of the SEC. Look at Georgia when Stafford was a freshman. He played about like Lee is playing now. The problem is that no one expected the defense to fall apart like this.

There is just no way you can look at the way this defense is playing and conclude that the coaches are doing a good job. Its the coaches' job to make sure the players get the job done.

This defense is still nowhere near the worst of all time, but its the worst in a long time.

Off the top of my head, he threw 13 picks to 7 tds, which is much worse than Lee's ratio.

I still believe in LM and think that he will get it figured out. If he doesn't? Well it wouldn't be the first time for those of us who have been following the Tigers for more than 8 years. I'll still be watching, still sporting my LSU gear, and still be rooting for the Tigers no matter what happens.

If our quarterback keeps throwing picks, maybe we should teach our offense how to tackle better. The difference in the game, just my op.

Please show where there is a lack of talent on defense? Youth and inexperience, yes. The Co DC, coaching, and schemes are the problem. Tackling, taking correct angles, and executing the blitz are somethings you work on and perfect in practice. Being on the field a lot after turnovers and 4 three and outs don't help either.

Doesn't matter how good your defence is.JL throws 2 INT's and returned for touchdowns....

Coaching had nothing to do with Veteran Safety Curtis Taylor missing an easy tackle on Moreno's 68 yard TD.

you mean coleman? he's the one who missed the tackle on that play

and that was one play

there were about 25 other bad ones

In the case of the long run,as stated above, Coleman missed the tackle. I don't think he was trying to make sportcenter's top ten. Moreno just broke the tackle. My question, how the hell do a bunch of freshmen Offensive lineman and a fullback consistatly beat our supposed all world d-lineman and linebackers? A lot of the focus has been on the safeties, but when they are the FIRST one to lay a lick, something is wrong in front of them.

We missed tackles all over the field. There are refs in this league who tackle better than some of our players did yesterday?
