Or you know.. don’t go deep throating Trump on national television after the George Floyd incident…

Pretty common sense stuff you don’t do when leading a team of young black men.

We recruit a lot of kids who live where it's normal to see extreme violence, drugs are acceptable, and having children in HS is far too common. You arent dealing with normal society

And what does any of this have to do with Trump? That's the issue. These kids are brainswashed into believing a false narrative, by elitist ACTUAL racists who they continue to vote for.

Again... none of you have been able to answer the question. What does George Floyd have to do with Trump?

You don’t understand how praising Trump on national television would piss off young black gentlemen on your football team?

I understand that it did, because people told them it should. I still don't (and never will) understand why it would, in reality. Can you explain it to me?

Calling someone a racist it’s simply an attempt to disparage the person but says nothing about the person’s argument.

You march with your team. That doesn’t mean you to agree with your players opinion, just that you support their right to their opinion and you have some appreciation for what forms their opinion.

The fact this seemingly escaped Coach O‘s reasoning ability was astounding, but not surprising given his history

Nobody truly knows why young blacks didn’t like Trump, especially after what he did that white democrats wouldn’t or couldn’t do. Trump got good black support for an R, but not with young or female black people. We don’t know why, bottom line is young blacks don’t like him, Orgeron couldn’t read the room.

These kids are brainwashed by the left to believe the system is set up against them, so that they'll never believe they can achieve anything outside of sports. That's true racism coming from the people these kids rely on to think for them. Why don't they go talk to guys like Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, or Larry Elder? Guys who actually lived through an oppressive time period and saw with their own eyes how America has changed, and who most decidedly made something of themselves.

Because those guys don't fit the victim narrative, and these players feed off of victimhood. It's much easier to go through life blaming all your problems on people who never even met you, instead of taking personal responsibility. None of them (black liberals) ever walked in my shoes, either. Should that matter? My family, and families all over this country are actually being screwed by the people these kids voted for, in a very direct way. The black community made record progress in the job market under Trump. But he's a racist?

I think we all know that it's people like you who have zero understanding about anything. You just white knight for a cause that you know nothing about, because it makes you feel warm and fuzzy. Why don't you actually take the time to educate yourself about something instead of shouting into your echo chamber of mindless rhetoric.

You are why people march.

You are why blacks feel marginalized.

You are why a realty tv star got elected to the presidency

You are why blacks truly are marginalized. Lester, you are the last person that needs to be in here discussing race, we all know you have a bad history of racism, just stop

This thread is embarrassing and filled with racist undertones. Imagine a recruit or a recruit’s parent reading this nonsense. It’s like you guys want the black players to stop coming to LSU.

The players are sheep and Orgeron is an oaf. At least after reading that.

You forgot "dog whistles" and "keep them in chains." You really need to bone up on your racism bingo.

What’s being said here politically wise is being said across just about every major football message board across the nation, especially SEC territory. In reality most of the anger is towards white progressives who lie to blacks and feed them BS every election

I am a former player who understands far more about college athletes than you ever would.

In the real world where black athletes are the vast majority, they don’t see things the way people like you do.

Go on and pout though…..that’ll show’em!

Sir, many of us have children the age of the players..

it's not okay to placate to young black football players who are being taught to hate police, assume whites hate them or against them, hate the system, distrust republicans and hate Trump because he speaks his mind, is confident, rich and married to a supermodel.

instead of real conversations, "well lets march and take knee so you know I am with you"

93% of blacks vote Democrat

74% of blacks are born out of wedlock

As a black man, do you you see any issue with these figures at all?

There is a real lack of divisity of thought inside the black community...

It all comes from within and then is validated in schools by white liberals

Malcom X had it figured out 60 years ago
