My biggest criticism of Miles, is that he doesn't change anything until it costs us a game. The offense didn't get better until after the Florida game, and I can assure you Miles now realizes the prevent defense is horseshite. I sometimes wish he would acknowledge problems and solve them before they cost us a game. The prevent defense hasn't worked all year - and there was no reason to think it would work against the number 1 team in the country.
Totally agree with this assessment. And as for the first half Bama score, I'm pretty sure they got that last first-half TD on our "soft/prevent" defensive scheme, too. So if you look at it that way, our soft/prevent accounts for two of Bama's TDs. Mind-boggling!

I did, both in the Bama last possession of the 2nd and 4th quarters. Cost us the game.

Very seldom do we lose that coaching decisions don't factor into the loss. some are just more painful and obvious than others. What a heart-breakng loss once again that the players suffered through. It makes the LC type decisions easier to explain.

Except for the faked field goal, other decisions were good but had to be executed differently. Also, he should have gone aggressively for first down and end the game, Chavis fooled him into thinking he will hold.

I'm over it. I'm calmed down. Yes, Miles did some dumb things, but Bama just won and made plays when they needed to.

Life goes on.
