IMO, Crowton started this season on a short lease, and Miles may have choked-collared him in the second half last night.

This would make my freaking day. Maybe Crowton can try to steal signals or something from up in the booth.

and we all saw Miles with the multi-colored laminated cheat sheet on the sidelines

he actually only had it for the second quarter, but never again after that.

dont most people assume Gonzales was brought in as OC-in-waiting? i cant pretend 2007 never happened, but the offense has sucked ever since, so if that begins now, thats fine with me.

I think Miles would have been more than happy to be Crowton-free this year, and started in that direction. But between $$$ and not having a solid "great hire",
wrong....!

Miles actually went to Crowton in Nov and ask him to stay..

This is yet another one of a long list of urban legends under Miles.

Playbook is too complex
Les is holding Jimbo back
Les is holding Crowton back
Les is not calling the plays
Les is more involved in the coaching of our offensive line
Shepard will be very involved in the offense

I thought he did as well. I saw several times where he was clearly calling in plays because he was hidimg what he was saying.

Good Crowton needs to go.

I noticed he was holding the play sheet when they scored a TD in the first half...Then after that, he wasn't...

I also noticed the play calling was pretty solid in the 4th Q. Basic sets, easy to execute...they looked good.

I definitely noticed something was different in the final Q. I even asked my brother, "does Crowton need a "comfortable lead" before he runs a solid, basic offense?"

I think your right and good for him. We need to line up, play ball i liked seeing the qb under center a little more than usual. Miles must know he has to get this offense situation tended to otherwise the state game might be the beginning of the end

Something was different in the third and especially the fourth. More power I formations.

Yeah! Vandy's twenty-two best players, none of which could make LSU's roster, were wore out mentally and physically. LSU could pretty much do what ever they wanted. Ugh, all except Jefferson. He sitll couldn't hit a wide open receiver ten yards away.
