I might be wrong here but there is a setting with in Setup. A setting will say something like, show SD and HD or hide SD. Not sure exactly because I am not home in front of my TV.

My DTV signal is pretty good even in heavy/bad weather..... And the one time it faded out I switched from HD to SD and I could at least watch.

On the DTV remote, hit menu and then choose settings, then display (I think).... There are options to choose on your guide to enable SD (standard definition) and if your normal HD goes out switch to SD and the show usually comes on just fine.

it's in my guide, if it's not in your guide, just go up 1 channel with your remote
