you guys have a bigger crowd but we tailgate just as early. we aren't "clueless" about setting up at the a$$ crack of dawn or even the day before. now whether that map made any sense, beats me.

I tailgate there. We have a spot under a tree that we set up 3 tent skeletons on Friday and plan on getting out to the tailgate around 9 on Saturday. I'm interested to see if they do show up early if they plan on moving people's stuff. Should be an interesting day.

Well, unfortunately, I am the early tailgater in the crew. I guess I could get out there a little earlier. My car will alreadybe parked by the tailgate with all our tailgating stuff inside, so I'm not too worried about it. The lot was pretty empty at 9 last week, so unless they decide to do spread out as much as possible, I doubt they mess with anyone's spots.

We typically try to get out to our spot around 7 am. Will try the same this week. We had quite a bit of competition last week from some tailgaiting virgins. Wasn't too bad though.

Do you tailgate in the lot this thread is talking about? Last week it really didn't start filling up til 11. I know this week is bigger but the game is also 2 hours later. I'm just not expecting to be wowed by the crowd if I wait til 9 to get out there.

sorry should have specified that I do not tailgate in that lot. The one we are in is closer to the center of campus on S. Stadium Dr.
