How bout taking care of Saban, Meyer and Nutt for starters.

Meyer started at Florida in 2005, Saban at Bama in 2007.

So here it is:

2005 and 2007 Miles beat Urban Meyer (2006, 2008, 2009 he lost) -- 2 - 3.

2007 Miles beat Saban

2008 - Miles lost in OT to the undefeated #1 ranked team with an QB that threw more pick 6's than anyone in college football history and threw 3 picks (1 pick 6, I think) in that game -- the most curtial on 3rd down in OT.

2009 - Miles lost to Saban's #2 ranked (was #1 for a week) undefeated team in a game where LSU lost OL, DL, LB, QB, RB, TE and DB to injury.

So he's 1 - 2 again Nick Saban and 2008 was OT.

So - what's your point -- I know "close only counts... yada yada yada".

Face it - a break here and there and he's UP on both these "Legends" -- only UF 2008 was a blowout - and that stuff happens.

Was it 2004 when Saban lost badly at UGA and UF back to back? It happens - get used to it -- this is the SEC and it's tough to always win.

Bama and UF have an amazing run going -- but it will end, no doubt about that - it will end - maybe next year - we'll have to wait and see.

"Les beat an 80+ year old coach. He ought to be ashamed of himself". I can hear it now.

Answer---- Les Miles will never enter the respect promise land. Regardless of how well his teams play. Very sad.

Your wife screws around on you two weeks ago on national Tv no less. Embarrasses the hell out of you and your family.

In a month she give you something you expect. Maybe even something you don't expect.

That makes it all ok?

Yes, LSU played their best GOTY against Alabama in 2008 and it went into OT.

But look at the trend.

Florida skulldragged LSU in 2008, and LSU could muster only 3 points this year AT HOME.

Alabama's program gets better every year and LSU's is going backwards.

Ole Miss dominated LSU 2 years in a row and Nutt will be going for 4th in row vs Miles next year.

Beating Arkansas and beating Penn State, I think he would at the time. I mean it is just one game he made a mistake in.

If we were 12-0 like Alabama and Florida, having won like they did, there would still be people bitching. Take the Bama vs. UT game or the UF vs. MSU game as examples. These would be ammunition for the bitching.

If that happened, I'd be all about Miles. You're full of shite if you think people would still hate Miles after that. The big flaw in your argument is that it hasn't happened and will never come close to happening. Miles=peaked.

And UF scored their more than half of their points with a blatant penalty that wasn't called.

Alabama's program gets better every year and LSU's is going backwards.

Says you sonnyboy and your opinion means jack shite.

Ole Miss dominated LSU 2 years in a row and Nutt will be going for 4th in row vs Miles next year

You call this last game "dominated?" Sonnyboy you are a joke.

Yes it would happen sonnyboy. If you morons had your way LSU would be undefeated, untied, and unscored on and you dogworm pieces of shite would want to get rid of Miles.

What's wrong sonnyboy? Have a problem refuting facts there sonnyboy? I love it when stupid kids resort to childish attempts at insults. It really is funny/pathetic.

24 more points this year at the right times and LSU is undefeated. That is an average of only 2 more point a game.

So is Notre Dame, Oregon State, VaTech, GaTech, Pitt, Iowa, UConn, etc...

Well with all due respect, grandpa, all you do is call everyone sonnyboy and present yourself as a bitter old man in love with Miles. Get over it. Move on. Father time is not on your side.

MY problem is over last 3-4 years we have gone form averaging 40 - 45 points to less than twenty. Not sure you blame HC,OC or whomever. Les has to improve those numbers beofre I think he gains more respect

Respect? Yes!

Does it mean he is a great HC? No.

Does it mean or show that he will be able to best Saban here forth in the SEC West? No.

Just means that he is a very solid Top 20 HC, that with plenty of prep time, and if getting to face inferior northern squads, utilizes the edges at his disposal..and led LSU to wins over ND, OSU, and PSU.
