Yes he told the "TRUTH" about how poorly our team was coached on defense but also on offense.
Best QB on bench all year. Miles, not using time outs at key times, letting the clock beat us in

They were all true statements. We DID have the most most disappointing defensive unit in all of football. And we DO have too much talent to have played the way we did.

What?
we were forced to play or 2nd, 3rd and ultimately 4th string QBs and still scored enough points to win just about every game.
Although they weren't perfect, I didn't see the defense kicking footballs etc. The difference is that the offense had a legit coordinator. The defense still does not. Miles needs to step up and address this now.

Generally, I think the ESPN guy is right, except that I don't think that LSU is as talented on defense as so many folks think, unless you mean raw talent like speed and size. The fact is that the majority of the 2007 defense, and the best of the 2007 defense, graduated, leaving LSU with a young, inexperienced defense...a defense that played like a young, inexperienced defense.
The troubling element is that they seemed to get worse as the season wore on, and that reflects on coaching, not talent.

That's true. I'm a LSU fan, and I hate everything. I hate the LSU Tigers the least of anything in the world, except for our 2008 Defense . . . I hate them.
