Exactly the reason I can’t get excited about college baseball.
Most of the players who are like him are playing in pro baseball, so it’s just one step above club sports.
Sure I want LSU to win but it’s probably about like watching A ball with aluminum bats.

It worked out to his benefit also. He gets to have his cake and eat it too: he will get a huge guaranteed contract as the No. 1 overall pick and he got to enjoy the pure fun of the college experience.
