re: We need a complete roster overhaul

Maybe, but you can’t deny the similarities.
You're right. I forgot that Orgeron won that second championship. I also forget that Jay is too busy pegging hot milf blonds to care about his team.
I don't get embrassed over things I take no part in. I'm not out there throwing, catching, hitting, or coaching. I'm very displeased with this team, but I'm not "embarrassed".
He has a $40MM roster, but he has to replace more than half of it. He didn’t exactly get to be selective. Yes, got a few very nice shiney toys. But most of that money was spent on depth pieces/filling holes. I think our roster will be more competitive than last year. But I’m not expecting a title year 1.
I think the goal for next years is to at least be in the conversation for a playoff spot very late in the season, establish this coaching staff’s locker room environment, and lastly, RETENTION. We can’t be successful having to replace as much of the roster as we did last year, year in and year out. This is something Kiffin and several of his offensive staff members talked about. They want to establish a fun environment where kids want to come and don’t want to leave. If they can do that, then we can be very selective in the portal going forward with that money backing they have.

Time to bust out the soap socks.

Do you guys think he was wrong to delete the tweet?
Serious question, are you autistic? The connections your brain makes are not normal.
You don’t win two titles and then suddenly not know how to coach the very next year after the second one. It’s a combination of several things.
He missed on some portal guys, for one. This is the tough one. He commented after his first CWS title that the timing of the portal makes it diffivult for teams playing late in the season. Your time for talent evaluation is condensed because you’re hyper-focused on your current team. Plus you don’t really know which non-graduating guys will be leaving as soon as other teams do. It’s just a bigger hurdle for teams playing late. It becomes harder to fill hyour holes. We see a similar struggle with Arkansas this season.
The other thing is that there is so much roster turnover now, that teams have a harder time building chemistry. Sone years it works, some years it doesn’t.
Lastly, when things don’t go right over the course of weeks and months, it takes a toll on players, mentally. They continue to doubt themselves more and more. They stop trusting in their teammates ability. It snowballs. And when the pressure is on, those teams collapse. This is why you see more errors in crucial innings/spots, causing crooked number innings.

There's a good chance whomever ends up as the 3rd QB this next season will transfer out next year so they can get an opportunity. It they likely will get that opportunity. These two QBs are looking really good. I think we will compete regardless of how fast Sam Leavitt is able to come back.

Women’s basketball is staying the same yet baseballs funding is going up. Hoenstly, that doesn’t make much sense. Baseball going to take an extra 0.5% from track? Whatever baseball gets in increase from rev share is completely marginal. The rev share thing has been so misreported and over exaggerated in terms of importance
Some of the smaller sports don’t need rev share funds. They need scholarships. Verge was saying that he’s diverting more scholarships to those programs in exchange for redirecting more of the rev share funds to baseball to get them closer to 5%.

Here's the rub, LSU fans don't like any of our catchers while there here but they love them after they leave. This includes Brady Neal. He got sh@t on by our fan base more than Arambide is getting this season.
He was cliding into the bag legally. He wasn't out of the base path. The errant throw took the guy covering the base toward Stanfield. The only time that'll get called is if Jeff Head is the ump covering that bag.

His anger was real, so I don't think he "planned" this in any way. He was PISSED.
No, not planned. But he knows when to constrain himself and when not to. He knew this was the right opportunity to let it go. And he likely knew he was getting tossed as soon as he walked out of that dugout.
And the HR he gave up would’ve been a deep fly ball out in most other parks.

Maybe. But coaches know they aren’t supposed to argue balls and strikes. Was there a warning given earlier in the game? I can’t recall. Regardless, Jay knew what he was doing. He wanted to get tossed to fire up his team. And I’m not mad at it. There’s a time to do this, and it’s not the 1st inning of a CWS game.
Ah. So “irony” type of funny…or, schadenfreude?
I don't see how anyone's FIRST instinct on 4/1 isn't to doubt everything.

Let's not do that...
In a way, he reminds me of Mark Emmert. Maybe a Cajun Mark Emmert.

Does Brady still do LSU radio?
So we’ll have 1 coach we fired talking about a team coached by another coach we fired and an assistant who is a 3rd coach we fired?
While we’re at it, let’s go get Trent Johnson. Then we’ll have everyone who coached this team for the 2+ decades prior to McMahon.
ETA: I'm not against it. He's had success at his other jobs. There must be SOME good coaching traits there. I just find the scenerio humorous.

With no outs it’s dumb
You need to learn to pick your battles. Many people are unhappy with how this season has unfolded this far. Part of that is the lack of aggression. If our conference record was flipped and we were up by 5 runs, then I would agree with you. But as things stand, it wasn't all that bad.

Why on earth would excitement for men’s basketball make her mad? She’s teases and gets jabs in all the time with the media. She did the same thing during the Kiffin rumors. Everybody just relax and enjoy that we have an outstanding group of coaches.
This. She’s always taking jabs at the media people. That’s it. It’s not anything deeper than that. She’s poking fun at them and the story lines THEY contrive.
