It's nice for the program, but they don't have to be considered the devil to be called out for handling a situation terribly.

It is true however, that if we told a player like Ego to take the greyshirt because he lagged on qualifying that the same posters calling out miles, would be 100 times worse and this would be a 100 page thread.

For 1 greyshirt? I don't see it. Even if so, it would be because they hate him, which is one of my points in this thread.
This isn't about greyshirting the guy. It's about an action that can be placed upon Miles. If we had a coach (inset name here) in his 3rd season with steadily improved records, this thread would be 2 pages and long gone.

link? Robert Lane wouldn't/couldn't promise that he would not go play pro baseball so Saban kept recruiting QBs all year and Lane knew this the whole time. Once it became clear JR was coming he got scared of the level of competition.
I don't know how thats comparable to the dozen or so players that Les has Barry Valcined since his arrival because he is unsure of his own talent evaluations/can't count to 25.

What if he would of told this Hypothetical Person(EGO Ferguson) that since he was one of the final few to qualify, that he had to take the Greyshirt or walk..would you not be on here saying "they should of cut one of the 3*s like Eliot Porter, LES CAN'T COUNT WOW WTF WE GOING 6-6"?

don't need a link. robert lane wasn't drafted.
he stated in the monroe news star that saban lied to him about how many qb's lsu would take. saban said he, robert, couldn't tell him if he was going pro baseball or not. yet, you believe saban and all his history of telling the truth.
this was handled so much better. the kid and his father went public to a newspaper and switched teams on signing day. that's the freaking point.

I assume you're talking about to 25. If that's the case..Saban, Chizik, Stoops, Shannon, and many more signed over 25.
