The commentators were fine.
ESPN dictating that they have a half inning conversation with a player during while ignoring an offensive rally is infuriating.

You sure aren’t, especially since Dizzy Dean died in 1974, Pee Wee Reese in 1999, and there has not, to my knowledge, been a broadcaster named Vin “Schully.”
Although Vin Scully passed in 2022.
