I had a guy behind me Saturday night that was clearly mentally challenged. He kept saying things like what this guy is ranting about. The whole game I kept thinking "So this is the type of person that posts retarded stuff on the Rant. That explains a lot."

The majority have said 9-3. If you were a reasonable person, you would have said 9-3 or if we get a few lucky breaks 10-2. Only Rantards set themselves up with lofty predictions of 14-0 and a national championship with a new QB, a new DC, and a defense that last year defined suckage. If you understand football, you will look objectively at these things and not go overboard with your predictions. The reasons for some of the meltdowns on here are because people set themselves up that way, and then when it doesn't work out, they go ballistic.

and by the way, how old are you?....how many years have you been watching SEC football, not very long obviously. If you win a game against Vandy in the beginning of the season, you have a good win....look back over the years, ...chk the record books...they have upset some teams in the first two to three weeks of the season consistently....

How is washington winning going to help LSU get better?

Without that sort of thing, we never even get into the 2003 BCS championship. I suspect the same for '07, but not sure.

If you are worried about LSU getting into a BCS bowl/NC game this year, your gonna be disappointed.

Who gives a shite what UW does? LSU can prove itself by playing good football vs good teams, and not having to relying on UW to try to make us look good by winning games.

Agree somewhat that expectations are probably too high for this team but two points.
1. We have young guys at a couple key positions (QB,WR,OL,DL)
2. Some teams just go a full season winning ugly (2007 Ohio State for example)

WOWWW, by the way you said I was born in 1984 and your asking how old I am lol. All you have to do is add (25) bud. Looks like your getting a little up there in years and need to go to the eye doctor. I pull for LSU everytime I play, and I go to LSU games all the time. Im just telling you what I see. I would love more than anything for LSU to blow out every team we play. We just dont match up this year against some of the other SEC teams, and if you cant see this YES YOU ARE BLIND. This is not my first POSt also I have been on Tigerdroppings for years I just made a diff account. I mean damn shame on me for saying what I think of this years team, I am just saying what I see and what all of you have seen. If u are seeing anything diff please please explain lol
