Millions of people love baseball. Its generally the 3rd favorite in the USA after football and car racing.
Its very popular in the northeast, more than car racing.
Think of it, there were pro baseball leagues in the 1800's.
Cincinnati's pro team started in 1869.
LSU has a great image nationally due to the fan support at televised games. Every time LSU is on TV is a plus.
What sports do you want to see better attended?
PS Baseball counts toward the trophy as the best program overall.

i used to be an umpire and honestly the shite that pitchers get away with is getting kinda ridiculous. but the fact is if not you could probably call a balk on every pitch (obviously with runners on) if you wanted. you just dont unless it really gives the pitcher an unfair advantage. just like holding in football could be called on virtually every play but it obviously is not.

Ok. I sat next to her and she does it too. Must throw her voice well. Sorry I failed at seeing it happen with my own eyes.

I agree, not trying to fight you on it. I just know I was shocked at how deep her voice was... Kept thinking what's that guy saying then realized "oh !&$&&$@$&! it's the k-lady"!
Noticed her voice during her rendition of "ball four", but also heard her signature "strike em out"...
