Well R.R. and D.P. should have been upset. they were open for t.d.'s at least twice and the didn't see them.
i'm not sure the game plan was all that bad. I watched from the uppper. The play to landry was a t.d. had j.j. thrown the ball a second or two earlier. There was a play where j.j. ran out of bounds on a roll out to the right, peterson was wide open in the middle of the field for a t.d. no one within 20 yards. Another play where he threw to o.b.j. in the late third and he got a hand on the ball, r.r. was running wide open in the middle of the field and j.j. didn't see.
that is several plays where a play was called a guy was WIDE OPEN and the qb just didn't see it. as a coach you can only call the play. the player has to make the play. if the player makes the plays above, it's a totally different game and lsu may even win. therefore, i'm not sure the game plan was that poor.

I heard that Sheridan said that he heard something about LSU before the game that caused him to put all of his money on Alabama. No link, no quote. It might have been said on Finebaum, but it was reported yesterday in a thread a read. Probably needs to be researched, but it is consistent with all of the big money going to Bama right before kickoff. There was a reason for that.
I did absolutely hear Finebaum say on Monday afternoon that he heard something very disturbing about LSU before the game. He and Sheridan are thick as thieves, so it might have been from the same source. Finebaum didn't want to go into it, but this might also be what he is talking about regarding the postgame dustup.

I'm starting to get sick reading this. I can buy all of the post-game stuff. I hope the players were pissed and out of natural frustration, something might have been said. However, hearing rumors of something happening before the game just makes my stomach turn.

No way there is a fix. Had to be dissension on the team of some kind that boiled over before the game.
Very few players have said that they prepared well and were ready and things just didn't work out. Very few players have said much of anything. the body language was like nothing I've ever seen from this team.
