The band was told at practice that fireworks and a flyover were going to be included in pregame on Saturday.

The had fireworks three times last year. And we lost all three games. 
But they were all during the day and it looked kind of stupid. It was really just a shite load of smoke. It'll probably be a lot cooler at night.

Chicken is right - idiotic to fly over at night, it will be dark by 7:00 pm. Save the fly over for appropriate date.

Go nose up right over the 50 yard line and kick in the afterburners. Even if dark you'll see them...and definitely hear them. As an added bonus, it would probably be good for Tebow's hearing/headaches - he'd probably start drooling (again) right away.

From a piolot's view..the weather will not be suitable for a flyover during Sat. night's game. The weather condtions have to be just right for a flyover, esp. one that is desiganted for a specific time (right at the end of the national athem) With the projected wind speeds and cloud coverage, this could create many air pockets..possibly forcing the jet to be 5-10 seconds late.

They were 10 seconds early for the one before the Mississippi State game. They could have used one of those.

i saw one 4-prop plane flying over the stadium today, but he looked a little high for a fly over, so idk. fwiw it was a military plane

That person is an idiot. A flyover will not coincide with fireworks. Its a common sense saftey issue.

Yeah he was flying all over campus yesterday afternoon just circling.

You dumbass. It's a flyover at the end of the national anthem then fireworks when the team runs out. Did you go to any games last year?

Ha..youre right..i still dont see how they will pull this off, many flights are planning on being delayed around kickoff Saturday.
