I can't comment on him not being yelled out but if you watched the Monday morning media sessions, Kelly was not kind to Baker...without mentioning him by name. Every week it was "we need to figure out a way to get off the field on 3rd down". That was an obvious dig against Baker which was legit by the way. I will bring back memories of another LSU DC whose defense had trouble getting off the field. Remember a guy named John Chavis? And you know what his nickname was..."3rd and Chavis". He was great on 1st and 2nd downs just like Baker is but 3rd and 9 or 3rd and 14...way too many 3rd down conversions.

Yep, and you can add Reed to the mix also. The reason Baker's defense wasn't bad against dual threat QBs in the first half of the year...didn't play any. Klubcuk no...Tech QB no...Lagway no...and Sellars I believe was still hurt after being injured in the KY game. Now, Baker faces Chambliss, Pavia, and Reed and gets smoked by all 3 of them.
