It's really not a big deal who "starts". Ware had 4.9 ypc, and Ford 3.8. Ware also had 9 more carries vs MSU.

He is a good change of pace back. He is better with a worn down defense anyway. I have no problem with how it is set up right now because they get near same # of touches and they both are a different pace for our offense.

this...

they r both studs! LSU is looking good!!!

Who cares who starts, as long as they both get their carries. We can determine carries based on the match-up and how the game is going.

Both get a decent amount of carries, so the starter shouldn't matter. Like it's been said, Ware pass protects better than Ford, which was very obvious on the play where Ford let Lee get destroyed last week. So I agree with Ware seeing the field more.

but people are acting like ware is good or something

He might not be near the caliber of a hester or Addai, but Ware has shown much more ability to pass block than Ford has. He made an excellent pickup in the middle of the MSU game, off the top of my head.

I believe Spence started the 1st and 3rd games and Ford started game 2 and had most of the carries. Hope the coaches keep playing the guy who is most prepared at gametime. Our coaches are doing a fine job fellas.

Ford should be starting.

"Charles Scott and Keiland Williams should be starting at running back in a year where the starter gains over 1000 yards and the team wins a national championship" just called and said go frick yourself.

I'm fine with the rotation but I would like to see Ford allowed to run outside more...or at least off tackle.

Pounding the middle is fine to a point, but there is a lot of yards off tackle waiting to be had.

Not to mention it forces DLine to run a liitle more...thus tiring them...which will make inside runs even more effective late.

I think Ware is setting up Ford nicely.

Having a guy like Ware beat up the opposing D line and LB's so that Ford can break their ankles is a pretty good formula. I don't see the issue of who starts if both are getting the touches.

As far as pass blocking.. They're sophmores. They'll get better with time and more snaps.

He doesn't look that great in pass protection and Ware is definitely a better receiving back. Overall, Ware is the more complete RB right now.

I agree with the blocking... But also, Ware absolutely demolishes the defenses. He isn't flashy but he does work. Then Ford comes in and runs in and around the worn out, beaten up D. I wouldn't change a thing.

Actually to clarify someone's previous post War is averaging 4.9 Ford is averaging 5.6 yards per carry, but I like how Miles' is using both of them, but I was disappointed a little with the conservative run calls on 2nd and 3rd and long.
