I don't discount that season because of that game. It would have happened to any team in the same situation. It's hard enough to beat Alabama once in a season, let alone twice. It's just BS they got a second chance without even winning their own division of their conference. My opinion is they had their chance and they fricked up, shouldn't have been there in the first place. It was set up for LSU to lose given that we had to play an extra game while Bama just got to rest their players and practice more.
