Smoot has always been a quote machine, but calling Brian Kelly a "snail" is a new level of savage even for him. It really highlights the shift in energy around the program since Lane Kiffin took over. Kiffin definitely has that modern "closer" personality that high-profile recruits and their families respond to, whereas Kelly always felt like he was trying to sell a corporate lifestyle rather than a football culture.
